area of Ondo during the weekend as a truck is
said to have crushed a primary school pupil to
death.
The boy, simply identified as Gabriel, was
said to have been attempting to cross the road
when the truck laden with tomatoes hit him
and killed him instantly.
The death of the 14-year-old student of the
New Era Group of Schools led to a traffic
gridlock as angry youths were said to have
blocked the road in a bid to register their
anger at the boy’s death.
Vanguard reports :
The angry youths barricaded major roads in
the town burning tyres and chanting war
songs.
They called on relevant authorities to construct
speed breakers on the highway to Akungba
from Owo to avoid a recurrence of such
fatality.

Group of Schools, simply identified as Gabriel,
was about to cross the expressway when he
was crushed to death.
