So true, so false: Meet Thai girl who is half human, half SNAKE (PICTURED)

A young girl in Thailand is said to be attracting
thousands of tourists to her family’s home after she
was born with half of her body like that of a
snake’s.

8-year old-Mai Li Fay, from Bangkok, is suffering
from a condition called ‘Serpentosis Malianorcis’
or ‘Jing Jing’s disease’, which, according to Dr.
Ping Lao, a Thai expert, causes her to have a lower
body similar to a reptile’s.
The girl’s family is said to be regularly besieged by
religious tourists, mostly Buddhists and Hindu
pilgrims, who believe that touching her will bring
them good fortune.
According to reports:
Only a handful of such cases have been recorded
throughout history, so the scientific knowledge
accumulated about the pathology is rather limited
and there is no cure in sight at the moment.
The Fay family have welcomed the situation brought
by Mai Li’s situation with a mix of anguish and
excitement, as the never ending lines of tourists and
pilgrims have brought the formerly impoverished
family some substantial revenue and given them an
important raise in their social status but has also
cost them their privacy and intimacy.
This story happened to have originated from a
website known for publishing hoax stories. The
snake girl abnormality therefore has a high
probability to be false as you suspected all along.
